Personal message from the creator of Teachable Music, Ruth Thompson

It’s interesting how, if you love something and are passionate about it, the ‘doing’ never feels like work. Designing and creating this expanding library of music training videos has been a joy. Yes, it has required vision, dedication, and perseverance, but to see this site up and running is a dream come true.

All these videos have arisen directly from my own practise and creative bent. They are designed to help you discover, create, improvise, and imagine new ways to build on your current capabilities.

I trust this contribution to your ongoing professional development in music education will become a ‘go to’ resource, reliable in its offerings and one that truly minimises your workload and makes music teaching easier and more accessible.

My heartfelt thanks to David, my one team member, who has believed in this project and me from the start, who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes and continues to do so.
